2nd Panzer

2nd Panzer is a non-political society and online meeting place for reenactors in Scandinavia who re-creates, displays and reflects aspects of historical warfare and military life at the front. The society is based in the southern parts of Sweden and have members all over Scandinavia. In addition to our reenactment activities 2nd Panzer has a preservation programme for war time vehicles in which all army veteran vehicle owners are welcome to join.

 Among our members we have units from the German 2nd Panzer Division (regular army - Wehrmacht), the US 1st Division and the US 5th Rangers Division. Our main purpose is to increase the knowledge and understanding of the ordinary life of the frontline soldier and his everyday hardships, far away from the arena of world politics. We also strive for such a realistic image of these specific historical units as possible.

As a result of our members highly realistic and prominent historical appearances they are often asked to take part in films, documentaries, public shows, magazines and books. On our public shows people can see contemporary weapons, field equipment, uniforms and vehicles and in this way get a comprehension for the life of the frontline soldier and his time.
